My Holistic Approach to Hypnosis
I use hypnosis—also known as hypnotherapy or hypnotic suggestion—as a powerful, holistic tool to reach the subconscious mind. Through this process, I help you shift negative thoughts and patterns into positive, supportive beliefs. Hypnosis can assist with fears, phobias, weight loss, quitting smoking, emotional healing, and so much more by reinforcing healthier mental and emotional pathways.
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. My role is to guide you into a relaxed, focused state where you remain fully aware and in control. In this calm, trance-like state, you become more open to positive suggestions and inner change. You never lose control—rather, you gain deeper access to your inner strength and clarity.
How Hypnosis Works:
Hypnosis is a natural, focused state of attention — kind of like when you’re daydreaming or deeply absorbed in a book or movie. In this relaxed state, your mind becomes more open to positive suggestions and new ways of thinking.
Normally, your conscious mind (the logical, analytical part) acts like a gatekeeper, filtering ideas and holding on to habits or beliefs — even unhelpful ones. During hypnosis, that gatekeeper relaxes a bit, allowing helpful messages to reach your subconscious mind — the part that controls habits, emotions, and automatic responses.
A trained hypnotist guides you into this state using calm words and imagery. Then, while you’re deeply relaxed but still aware, they give suggestions that support the changes you want — like reducing stress, quitting a habit, or building confidence.
Afterward, your subconscious begins to align with those suggestions, making it easier to act and feel differently in daily life.
So, hypnosis doesn’t make you lose control or “fall asleep” — it helps your mind work with you instead of against you.
